I am happy to announce the appointment of Steve Dorsey to the Society for News Design’s Executive Committee. Steve is the VP of News Performance and Partnerships at GateHouse Media, Center for News & Design. As a former president of SND and winner of a Lifetime Achievement Award, Steve is very familiar with SND’s mission and goals.
The executive committee is responsible for setting the agendas for the semi-annual board meetings and oversight of any contracts and evaluations of staff members. I am thankful to Steve for answering the call to assist SND in what is to be a busy year. His dedication to our field has inspired many of our members and his commitment to SND is unprecedented.
