After three days of competition, SND38 Best of News Design judges awarded Best in Show to the New York Times for their entry in category 15A, single-day photo series, multiple photos, under the headline “They Are Slaughtering Us Like Animals.”
“These are images will be burned into our psyche,” said one judge. “You won’t be able to get away from them.”
