Nate Silver and ESPN have officially launched Five Thirty Eight, a data-driven news site covering politics, economics, sports, science and lifestyle topics. Silver promises his new venture will include “data visualization, the development of interactive graphics and features, as well as investigate and explanatory reporting applied to public data sets.”
