We are delighted to introduce this accomplished group of candidates. These design leaders reflect the diverse experiences, backgrounds, platforms, and geographic perspectives that make up the Society for News Design. Each has been a dedicated supporter of SND throughout their career, and all have stepped forward to meet the challenges and opportunities the Society faces today.
This year, instead of a one-time Candidate Q&A session, we’re creating a more open and ongoing conversation. Members are invited to join the discussion in our Slack channel, #2026-board-candidate-forum, where you can ask candidates questions and learn more about their vision for the future of SND. Following this dialogue, we will move forward with the formal election.
Voting is restricted to SND members only and opens on September 26, 2025 and closes on October 3, 2025. New board members are seated January 1, 2026.
