Vision for SND
Serving on the SND board these past two years has really been an honor. When I first reconnected with the organization as a judge for the 44th annual competition, I left feeling inspired and ready to jump back in. That same energy is what motivated me to join the board, and it’s what continues to drive me now.
I’d like to continue serving because a lot of the work we started together is still in progress. We continue to have conversations about how SND can support members navigating the rise of AI in our field and how to strengthen our role as a guide for professionals facing a fast-changing industry. In this challenging moment for journalism, SND has the opportunity to guide and inspire visual journalists as together we shape what comes next.
SND has always been a place where ideas and inspiration flourish. I want to keep building on that momentum so the organization continues to grow, support its members, and inspire the next generation of visual creators.
