More than 900 entries were received for the 2014 competition year of The Best of Digital Design. New information graphics categories were introduced.
230 awards were given: 6 Gold Medals, 20 Silver Medals, 203 Awards of Excellence, and 1 World’s Best-Designed™ award. Categories were judged by divisions based on average monthly page views. Fifteen countries were represented among the winners: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
