The Best of Digital Design competition received 470 entries for the 2011 competition year. Two portfolio categories were introduced: Individual and Organizational, as were categories for Special Events and Continuous Use.
Eighty-three awards were given: 2 Gold Medals, 8 Silver Medals, 69 Awards of Excellence, 3 Judges’ Special Recognitions, and 1 World’s Best-Designed™ award. Categories were judged by divisions based on average monthly page views.
