Judge’s Comments: “Both art and science. Geographic has a diverse generational audience. From the youngest to the oldest reader … It has something for everyone. A 4-year old might want to look at this just for the animals and as you get older, you’d have more things to absorb and understand.”

Judge’s Comments: “It has detail of thought, lighting and movement and a playful seriousness about it.”

Judge’s Comments: “I don’t really know much about sharks, and I walked away know how their jaw works, different layers of their body, their eyeballs, teeth … everything.”

Judge’s Comments: “It’s like a photo exhibition—very convincing and made with a lot of love.”
