The judges, facilitators and International Web Desk are all hard at work in Syracuse. Here’s a Saturday evening update:
- We are over 250 winners for the competition at this point. Check out the first, 25th, 50th, 75th and 100th winners here.
- The judges have awarded their first gold medal, which we will be posting soon and many more silver medals and Judges Special Recognition awards (JSRs).
Currently on the tables in Syracuse:
Visuals judges: Photo category 15B (Photo Series)
Long-form judges: Special coverage, Category 9B and 9C (Sports and Features) are out on the table
News judges: They are midway through News Design category 3A (A-section pages)
Features judges: They are midway through Feature design category 7C (Arts & Entertainment pages)
World’s Best-Designed Newspaper™ judges: They have made the first cut in daily newspapers and are midway through the first cut of non-daily newspapers
