Due to our ongoing election and the onboarding of the 2021 Board of Directors, the current SND Leadership Council has made the decision to temporarily postpone our September Design Museum Creative Conference call until later this month.
September’s call was originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 15th and it will now be held Wednesday, September 29th – just two weeks later. We believe this is in the best interest of both the call and election process so each can have independent dedicated time to thrive. We apologize for any scheduling inconvenience this may have caused but hope you’ll still join us at the end of the month.
If you have already signed up, your registration will automatically be transferred. If you are interested in joining the conversation – it’s not too late to sign up. A reminder that this event is free for members and $10 for non-members.
Thank you to all that have already submitted work. Additionally, with the change in date, we will now be allocating extra time for our interactive mural board which will be posted September 7.
The new call time on Wednesday, September 29th will still include a facilitated 5-minute conversation to discuss mural board comments, questions and thoughts. After those 5 minutes, we will speak directly with the designer to hear their thoughts, what went into the design and how the design came to be.
We are super excited for this showcase and hope the extra time will result in even livelier conversation.
