Join the 2020-2021 COVID-19 Cartoon Showcase

  • February 1, 2021
Society for News Design

WHO declared the virus a global pandemic on March 11, 2020.

In the year since, how have you portrayed the pandemic with wit and art? The Society for News Design and the Danish newspaper Politiken invite news cartoonists from all over the world to submit entries that can answer that question.

Be part of this initiative and have your work be recognized together with iconic digital and print media from around the globe. The cartoons will be showcased on SND.org in March 2021, and they will be shared with all participants.

Participating is very simple!
Submit your form here. You may choose to produce a special cartoon for the project or select one (or several) that your media outlet has already published. The file size should be between 3 and 5 MB because we plan to show them in both digital and print format. Send as many entries as you wish — it’s free!
