SUMMARY:Creative Conference Calls: Is What's Old New Again?
DESCRIPTION:If there’s one thing we know to be true about design\, it’s that some trend or technique always seems to make a comeback. While it might not be the exact same\, the work of the past still inspires many design trends and techniques we see today. The Atlantic’s Yuri Victor and The Philadelphia Inquire’s Suzette Moyer join Creative Conference Call to discuss trends in print and digital that are making a comeback in 2022.  \n  \nOur speakers:\nYuri Victor \nYuri Victor is a senior editor at The Atlantic. He lives in New York. \nSuzette Moyer \nSuzette Moyer recently joined the Philadelphia Inquirer as their Design Director. She was previously a senior design editor at The Washington Post where she helped visual journalists produce ambitious stories online and in print. She has also worked at newsrooms in Florida\, Connecticut and Washington state and has earned multiple visual awards during her 30+ year career. In 2019\, “12 seconds of gunfire: The true story of a school shooting” debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. Suzette co-produced and art directed the virtual reality film that also appeared at film festivals around the world in VR and theatrical cuts. \n  \nRegister\nActive SND members will automatically be registered for this event. Upon registration\, please allow 1-2 business days to receive your registration link from Crowdcast. \n\n\n\n\n\nLoading…\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\nAbout This Series:\nThe concept: A moderated 60-90 minute conversation with various guests on specific design and industry topics.
